his BS degree from Utah State University in 1963. He completed his post-graduate work at the
University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1968. He also completed a fellowship at the
University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 1970. Dr. Biddulph's open, friendly
personality has always been appreciated by his students. He is always readily available to
guide the beginning medical student in the gross anatomy or microbiology laboratory. Dr.
Biddulph will become emeritus faculty in July. 1999.

Ronald Mack, M.D. earned his BS degree from Loyola University of Chicago in 1950. He
then attended Stritch School of Medicine of Loyola University receiving his MD in 1954. His
internship year was served at Cook County Hospital. He then completed his residency in
Pediatrics at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in 1957. He came to Bowman Gray School
of Medicine as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in 1975. His teaching experience, com-
mittee memberships, and publications are numerous. In addition, he is a world famous toxi-
cologist. To his students. Dr. Mack is an accomplished historian. Dr. Mack will become
emeritus faculty in July, 1999.

Charles McCreight, Ph.D. has taught untold numbers of students in his forty-seven years of

students owe him a debt of gratitude for the gentle wisdom he has unselfishly shared.

Beverly Green Penn began working in the Office of Medical Education of the Bowman Gray
School of Medicine on April 9, 1992. She was also Secretary to the Ethics Committee.
Beverly married in November of 1997. She has been in declining health since April, 1998.
Beverly always loved photography and the students she helped so much. This was in great
evidence by the bulletin board she constructed on E-floor outside the Office of Medical
Education. In her spare time, she was a seamstress and played Bingo. Beverly's presence is
greatly missed by her colleagues and students, who are also her friends.
